The title of this blog is an attempted play on words on Rene Magritte's painting, This is not a pipe or, in the original French, Ceci n'est pas une pipe. Read more about it here. Although this doesn't really work because a blog only exists virtually, not in any other form, so no matter how hard I try to claim 'this is not a blog,' it actually is.
